Many hearts have joined together to make this art show happen. 

Consider coming out this Friday, as some pretty special creators in our community come together to share a plethora of gorgeous gifts. You'll see the stunning work of over 60 artists on the theme of labyrinths, mandalas and the meditative arts - and, wow, are they lovely.

Movement Continuum will dance, Eric Sutherland will read poetry, Pete Wallace will play handpans, there will be Celtic & Appalachian music by Jana Flygstad (flute), David Davenport (bodhran) and Lisa Hall (piano) and food by the gorgeous Sally Foster. 

A big thank you to each and everyone one of you!

This has been a year in the making, so a huge shout out to the entire Art at The Cathedral crew, especially Lynne & Mike Slone who keep the ship afloat and the in house crew who keep everything going, possible and kind ... and fellow Living Mandala co-conspirator, Melissa Bright.

The spirit of this show ignited with a transformative mandala shaped by Lori Halton, an invitation to curate a show on meditative arts from the Slones & Melissa teaching to make mandalas.

 I'm really excited for the evening and while there is still much prep to do before then, it's a reminder of how much I love co-leading and collaborating with community projects.  My last art show was born from the Tarot Art Show I had in my 20's and it only took 20 years or so for that to come to fruition, but, it was so special, fun, heart warming and inspiring to see everyone step forth with their gifts.  These shows have been spaced apart by 10 years and coincidentally both were also held in September within the same week.  I love synchronicities like this.  

Anyhow, consider joining us as we celebrate beauty created by living, breathing humans and hands in real life!
