Increase Magnesium Levels for Optimum Brain Functioning

Magnesium is one of the most common deficiencies in the country. This is mainly due to unsustainable farming methods that lead to mineral depletion of the soil. Some sources of magnesium are leafy greens, almonds (nuts), halibut, chlorophyll and black strap molasses. Something else to keep in mind: If you increase you calcium intake, be sure to increase your magnesium as well--your body uses up twice the amount of magnesium in order to process the calcium.
